AO Fraternity
has decided to give greater substance
to our desire to improve the world by
establishing The Global Oral Health Initiative,
known informally as GOHI.
G.O.H.I. represents our
efforts in:
• feeding the poor
• helping those in need; and
• the work of many of our members
who sit on the boards of numerous
philanthropic organizations
In 2007, a sculpture was dedicated by
Dr. Allen Finklestein to represent this
historic movement, "The Tree of Peace."
Our Fraternity and foundation
leaders voted, with the blessing of the artist
Hedva Ser, to adopt the "Tree of Peace" design
as Alpha Omega International Fraternity's new
symbol of philanthrophy.

It is the global Fraternity's goal to have all
of its foundations, chapters, and members
participate in using this schedule when
recognizing its donors. The eventual goal is
to have the "Tree of Peace" recognized as
synonymous with Alpha Omega and our
Global Oral Health Initiative.
